What is a Monitoring Bay?

A Monitoring Bay is a bay on the block used consistently for counting throughout the season to help predict crop volume. Counting the same bay across multiple seasons can help to understand seasonal trends.

The Monitoring Bay workflow identifies the location and size of monitoring bays on the orchard. Counts can then be entered against the monitoring bays using the mobile or desktop app.

Monitoring Bays can only be managed from within an individual property. Learn how to navigate to a property here.

Navigation

When you first navigate to a property, you can see the boundary of the orchard visible in its spatial location.

When you navigate to the Monitoring Bays workflow, existing monitor bays will be displayed on the map.

From here, you can choose to add a new monitoring bay or click in to view individual monitor bay attributes.
