Adding biosecurity events, points of interest, and associated areas

Add biosecurity event

1. First, click the ‘Add new feature’ button on the home view

2. Fill in the details of your event, and click ‘Save’

3. You will then be taken to your event details.

Add points of interest

1. In the event details page, click ‘Add a point of interest’ on the bottom right of the panel.

2. Fill in the details of your point of interest.

3. Draw your point on the map by clicking on the map. If you wish to move it, click on the point again, and drag it to move it’s location.

   1. You can also choose to enter an address or coordinates for the point of interest

4. When you are happy with your point of interest, click ‘Save Feature’

Add an associated area

1. Select your point of interest.

2. Click ‘Add new area’ on the bottom right of the panel.

3. Fill in the form that appears and draw your area.

   1. You can also choose to create a buffer circle around the point of interest instead of a freehand shape,

4. Once you are happy with your changes, click ‘Save Feature’
